vzzzzzzz

zwoooosh!

I’ve been packeted up for a few. How vague should I be, in explanation? I d’no. Processing some *shit* with some help from a professional. So my writing, lately, when it comes in streaks or fart-bubbles isn’t at all intended for public consumption.

The resultant purges have me a little surprised. Surprised quiet. Zip-locked. It’s an “interesting” experience. How’s that for self-distancing?

I’m gonna try to refrain from pscho-babble on here, but pair someone self-involved with a self-involving process and the results can be… nauseating. I’m wholly interested in piecing myself at the moment. Which isn’t to be confused with liking myself, but I’m engrossed, and when I’m not doing that I’m throwing all attention into totally non-wordy, non self-aware shit, cus there’s only so much of that even an egotist can take.

So that’s what I’m up to. I’m sure I’ll lose interest shortly, cus that’s what I do. So stay tuned, there will be more garbledy-gook here. Eventually.

  • I’ve been self-involved with a self-involved process too. The blogging is probably easier for me since I don’t do any actual writing of my own so I don’t have to be too self-involved about it.

I hope your self-involved process leads you to great adventures and loads of creativity. That last part was a tad selfish cos I enjoy your writing and miss you when you’re not blogging.

  • I’m happy you are branching out, as long as you come back to us. I’ve been engrossed elsewhere, too–in worlds of mastik, P-traps, knockdown, low VOC, and on the side, listening to both sides of seemingly unsolvable problems, soaking in, hopeing to lighten the load so there will be a good outcome. Loving them all, taking no sides. But weebles always return where there are more answers than questions. Take all the time you need.

  • Sounds like an excellent idea, and then get the big red editing pen out and show us something amazing again, or not, if you don’t want to, anyway have fun or learn something or both preferably, (ps, never trust a professional, they have a vested interest, they need sick people to pay their bills, an unscrupulous one can easily come up with new plognoses to sneer at eccentricities, a good one tells you when you are fine,)

  • My father’s advice on the subject of self-involvement:

There are more old drunks than there are old doctors.

  • good luck with it (hug)

  • Hmmm. I’m not sure what that meant, but I back you 100 percent!

  • I hope it all turns out well in the end. I look forward to reading some of your new stuff.

  • I am SO self-involved that I assume everyone is not only interested in my process, but that they’ll benefit from my sharing it. Someone should just shoot me and put everyone out of my misery.
