Salt water

Pull the plug and watch it drain.
Master that, feel new again;
feels refreshing- Acid rain
dissolving an unwelcome story.
Solitary lines maintain
integrity; no cross, no break,
no diverging routes to take;
straight shot past both fear and glory,
blank route past both joy and pain.
No decisions more to make:
Pull the plug and watch it drain.
Master that. Feel cold again.

Cool, whizzy round poem. Goes round three times different perspective on the same thought perfectly made for rhythm and rhyme and momentum, Beautiful. Now you gotta start again, haha, woohoo, that is a cool poem, functional and real and really wellmade, the pressures on uhoh,

This is structurally brilliant……and is so like the water going. Very well done you, you’ve got the gift for poetry and how. Oh and smiling at Rick’s comment……yep she sure told him

I don’t know why, but: “Pull the plug and watch it drain.” has had a profound effect on me. Something in those seven words has resonated in my tiny mind. I’ll have to figure out why.
